I know it's not an ATV ride but I couldn't help but upload my recent MTB ride from the Spooner Summit Trailhead to the oldest bar in Nevada.
I dropped my Haibike e-bike off at Genoa Bar (where I would use it as a shuttle bike), then drove my car to the Spooner Summit Trailhead where I started the near 20 mile ride on my Scott Genius mountain bike on the Tahoe Rim Trail to the Sierra Canyon Trail and into Genoa, the oldest Settlement in Nevada (established in 1851).
I then left my Scott at the Genoa bar and rode my e-bike back up to Spooner Summit via Highway 395, and up the 3000 feet on Interstate 50. I was able to climb the 6% grade with just enough juice in my Yamaha battery, mission accomplished!
After a stop at In & Out Burger in Carson City I drove back to Genoa Bar and enjoyed a few cold ones with some great people. It was one of the coolest point A to B rides I've ever accomplished.
If you're ever in the South Lake Tahoe area looking for a fun mountain bike journey this ride should be high on your list.
