This performance drills to the bone. So many covers of Delta blues play great guitar and then layer vocals over the top. The interplay between the vocals and the phrasing of the guitar is superb and really exemplifies the duet between guitar and vocals that is so evident in this track letting a portion of the lyrics be performed by the guitar.

WOW. thank you. please keep it up. you are the best at recreating the old acoustic blues musicians. often its hard to fully appreciate the original recordings because the quality is so bad. but you bring them to the 21st century, and show how truly creative these guys really were.

I feel so strange when i hear Spoonful played well. It's a man dying. Morpheus is a bitch, I can tell you. Why does that rhythm befit such a sad song? It's paradoxical and somehow perfect.
