Tiki taka is a style of play that involves players passing moving with players moving close to support. As for high pressing/conservative defending those are already covered in my defending tutorials. Cheers

Graham Taylor Jardim...interesting. I thought you'd prefer someone like Ancelotti. Premier League proven, plays attractive and great football - scored most goals in a PL season although City will probably conquer that. Good man management. Had a disappointing spell at Bayern, but so did Pep. Well, I'm a United fan and it's driving me crazy. There is no structure to our play. No width, Sanchez does whatever he wants and you've had the better deal there.... hoping he wakes up in pre-season maybe. Lingard, cuts inside. Young and Valencia are the only players providing width. It's so easy to stop United and painful watching. I'd love Ancelotti. Our place in league is so false... so many games we scrape by... unbelievable luck. Ugh. I feel for Wenger. As soon as the Emirates was being built...he was barely given any funds. Had to sell your best players...I've always felt he was covering for the board during transfer windows when clearly told not to spend. He's played great football and changed the English game for the better. Everyone moved from standard 442 because of him.

Spoony - Alexis in my view, is best used in a free role. A Trequartista, as they call it in Football Manager. Let him roam and cause havoc. That's his style of play. I wouldn't mind Ancelotti. But he's getting on a bit now and may be losing his enthusiasm a little. And after Wenger, we can't afford a coach like that. I wouldn't mind Conte either, if he were to leave Chelsea, which is looking increasingly likely. We need a winner, and Conte is certainly that, despite his problems there currently. Of the AVAILABLE candidates, Jardim fits the bill. And he can work well with limited resources, which our board will likely impose on him. I don't think Vieira or Arteta are ready yet. They're inexperienced at sole management. I really wanted Simeone. But he won't leave Athletico. He would toughen our pampered players up, which is what we urgently need.

Yeah Simeone wouldn't mess around :) him and his second in command - that guy is an absolute BEAST! Alexis is playing that role now, but just hasn't adapted at all. He doesn't look happy or enjoying his football... could be Mourinho's style maybe. I think Ancelloti is a quality coach, I don't think enthusiasm would be a problem although I think he'd like a club that will give him funds.

I tried it with Barca, before I saw these messages. The attacking full backs for me is bleurrrghhh. I prefer false fallbacks, it allows you to cycle the ball from the RM position to RB, to CM... otherwise on the defensive side, I found my RM doing the defending whilst my RB was still way up field. I'll re-try with Arsenal. Are you using CM, DM, DM, RM, LM and CF I assume?

Spoony how is the type of dribbling done that is shown in the PES 2018 intro video where Coutinho steps between the ball and his defender and turns his back to the defender and shields the ball, before turning off his defender with the ball to resume the dribble?

Check out my "Skills no-one told you about video" - it's those with auto feint on (may work for off). I didn't see the ball run through his legs, but release everything and hold sprint and he'll turn and run onto it. If you want to leave it for another player, hold player select AND sprint and nothing else. Cheers :)

Liverpool, second season. Karius, Alex Sandro, Van Dijk, Hummels, Clyne, Henderson, Dele Ali, De Bruyne, Dembele, Salah, Cavani. 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 possession game with attacking full-backs. Often switch Hendersoun out for Lallana against weaker opposition as Hendo tends to be way too defensive and just sit back with the center backs.

Paul Higgins haha, well he does slow down in second season and that is his strength. I think if you buy a Rashford ;-), Morata, Suarez, Griezmann... you'd have a different type of striker. Keep Cavani as a plan B if you're struggling to break a team down.

It's not obvious I'm not familiar with this move without the ball. Hi mate, not with Hug, I prefer hug as this stretches the defence and allows you to switch the play which is really important to Tiki Taka. It'll open up the middle... if everyone is really central, it makes it too easy to defend.

Mr OnYx automatic mate. When you lose possession of the ball, it switched to out of possession formation. When you're in possession of ball it switched to that formation. Kick off is exactly that...during kick offs

You'll always be open, you either play tiki taka and dominate and score when you have good long periods of possession, or you sit back in numbers, concede possession but have brief counter attack spells. I prefer to be in control and deal with any counters, they're more predictable.
