Free kicks are the only shit im good at... mainly with Ozil and Bale --- first aim for top corner away from goal keeper --- measure target based on amount of bend the player can produce... --- apply roughly 50% bar, the more you are further out from the penalty area the more you apply --- press down+right/(or left) depending on position... --- watch the ball fly into top corner Dedicated 1 night to mastering free kicks, becomes second nature from then on...

Superb vid , but I have a question. What's the difference between pressing the Square button and applying swerve between pressing the Circle button and applying swerve. Is there any real difference or is it simply preference? Thanks :D

Yes, total difference. Press your shoot button whichever that is. If it's indirect or you want to cross it for your team then use lob pass button. Cheers bud

No difference, you're just engaging manual controls by holding L2. Same as if in normal play...manual pass/shoot etc

No mate, there isn't really a certain place you can aim... As there are so many variables in terms of distance, placement, player swerve etc.

Just practice mate. I would go into free kick training and just practice. Make sure you use the R3 to judge it and then attempt at curling. I would say try with different players with different swerve stats.

OMG i used to play with the directional buttons, however after learning to use the analog i noticed how limited the directional buttons were in regards to player movement... Learn to use the analog, its rewarding

The chance of scoring under the wall is so minimal. I can score once every 30-40 attempts. Tried everything to see if there was a certain way to score...just go over as per this example for a goal every time if you get the power and aim right.
