I have a vintage Marty Hogan racket and it is in pristine condition. I can't wait to start playing soon!

Marty Hogan was my favorite player growing up. I had his Prokennex Shadow racket.

Can the ball hit the ceiling after hitting the front wall on the serve?
@urboboy6 жыл бұрын
He got the front line wrong also. You can step on the front line, just not completely out.

I am new to the sport and that confused me when he said that because I just watched a Rocky Carson video and he demonstrated as you say. Thanks for clarifying.

What happens when your serve, hit the front wall and then hit the service box (short) ?
@slimmdogg474 жыл бұрын
Short and second serve.
@MatthewSoltis4 ай бұрын
It’s gotta go past that short line (back line of the service zone) so it would be your first of two faults. You would have to re-serve.

What happens when you serve if you hit the front wall then the celing. Is it an immediate side out or is it ok?
@sportdvds5 жыл бұрын
That would be considered a Serving Fault. The same player would serve a second time. If a player makes two consecutive faults it results in a side out and the other team serves. store.racquetworld.com/racquetball-serves.html

Have they changed the rule about foot faults? I see servers' front foot almost totally surpassing the front line with no call being made in most tourneys

It is still a fault. www.irttour.com/serving-rules-for-racquetball/

What if the return shot hits your opponent?

Why does he remind me of Michael Knight from Knight Rider? 🤣🤣🤣😆

I think it's funny as an example of a hinder, the guy served the ball short.

This is like the most complicated game ever

Agreed. I just want to slam some balls against the wall and maybe accidentally hit my opponent (after it hits the wall, no bounce).

You should try Pickleball if you think Racquetball is complicated. LOL They took a perfectly fun game for 'old folks' and turned it into an 84 page rule book with international championships mostly played by youngins. Give me racquetball anytime ... even if I'm still old. Hahahahha

You really gotta just study up a little bit but then it’s very fun.

It took me just one hour to start having fun. Got just the same instructions like the video showed. Hitting the ball came naturally. Much much easier than tennis for sure. Fast and fun. Love it.
