The NBA is at it's best when the Knicks are good, and we got to see that in the playoff games at the Mecca. Even if NY didn't win, the energy in that arena was so insane that any basketball fan can appreciate it. A bright future for them no doubt, excited to see what happens with the roster this offseason.

Knicks should target a PG, SF and 5. Barrett improved on all cylinders and has proven to have a 3 ball in his arsenal, they need another young dynamic wing along with him, Bullock is just too average. Preferably a stretch 5 that can defend the paint but maybe Robinson turns into that. I would target Myles Turner or Jaren Jackson Jr. I would probably wait until 2022 to extend Randle. Last but not least Knicks desperately need PG play as they didn’t have a Trae Young on the team. I would target Malcolm Brogdon, Lonzo Ball, Terry Rozier or De’Aaron Fox if he asks for a trade.

I myself alrdy knew Hawks would make it to the playoffs after their trades. Bogdanovic, Gallinari, Capela, Rondo (Lou)....Capela being the #1 thing for me. Capela is an excellent rebounder (#1 in offensive rebounds this season perfect for Trae shooting 3s) while being a decent scorer and defender in the paint, this complements really well with Trae since they're polar opposites since Trae is excellent offensively while being ass in defense. If they didn't sign Capela, they wouldn't have made it to the playoffs and if they did they'd probably get swept in the first round. Whoever signed Capela deserves a raise.

A good guard defender that can setup the offense on the other end and be reliable from 3. That type of player would set them up tremendously. The good news is they don’t have to pay Randle this offseason and if they do choose to extend him this offseason I think he maxes out around $25m. If they wait until his current deal ends then it will be around $33-35m.

If there’s a Trae Young or Zion Williams coming out of college I would lean that direction. To trade for a top tier player would cost not only draft picks but Quickly and Toppings which is just foolish. Knicks still have bright young players. The last thing they should do is mortgage their future draft capital/cap space and try to make a run with aging vets. Develop the young players and look to sign vets to flexible team friendly contracts. Dont freak out and try to trade for aging stars like a Westbrook for example.

I think my Knicks will be very prudent with Leon Rose and Brock Aller and the rest of those guys at the helm. I don’t think they’ll bring back every single free agent. I’d guess Rose , Bullock(or Burks, but not both, and Taj. Julius’s eligible for a 4 year 106 max rn. I would sign him to that as it would make him around the 40th highest paid player in the league , which is perfectly fine. Hopefully he’d accept it , because if not his max skyrockets to like 200 mil or something next year. Resigning Rose, Burks & Noel to 2-3 year contracts at 6-10 million per year would be a very good investment. -Let Payton & Ntilikina walk. -Keep Bullock on a 1 yr deal, but be looking to upgrade at SF. -Look to move Knox somewhere else. -Develop Quickley & Toppin further into better young 2-way players. Let's be real, DRose was more valuable than Randle in the post season. They should pursue to get Duncan Robinson and Kendrick Nunn from Miami to add more depth, they wouldn't cost much honestly and lines up with their young core well being 26 and 25 yrs old respectively. CP3 is plagued with injuries in the post season always so signing him wouldn't make sense. Trying to sign Carmelo Anthony for the bench would also do well for ticket sales.

I would honestly suggest they explore a Dame Lillard trade, use Quickley in the trade, and Robinson if you have to. Use the Dallas Picks. Get an A Grade star. Look at trying to get Lonzo on the restricted market. Offer him like $18M for 3 years. Try to keep Rose, Noel, Burks and Bullock. Let Frank walk. Try to include Knox in a trade. I would even consider trading Randle if he wants too much money. Randle, Nurkic and CJ would be pretty decent in Portland, especially with Quickley at point, just saying. That leaves Dame and Barrett, with maybe Robinson. Rose off the bench with Burks, that bench unit is going to destroy people in the regular season. I would also recommend keeping Taj around on a vet's minimum. He is great in the locker room. I really like Lonzo beside Dame in the backcourt for 'Zo's size, and defence. He is a decent off-ball shooter, who can really push the pace. Dame is better in the half-court.

I would possibly entertain the idea of a Kemba Walker trade though, His trade value is on the floor and Boston want to move on from him so if they could get Kemba for cheap or get Kemba and a pick or two I would imo, he's been dealing with injury but if he can come back and be cardiac Kemba again that would be incredible

unless julius randle just choked this postseason, and returns to form, this season was fools gold. and it completely changes what players you look at in the offseason. does washington want out of the westbrook contract? if they did, id try weaponizing our cap space to eat the westbrook contract and sign and trade randle and some other stuff for beal :T tbh, even if randle plays better going forward, hes not a real superstar. he has less hops than i do, and cant do a lot around the basket unless he can get downhill.

I think if Star trade/FA (Kawhi, Dame,LaVine,Beal etc) is available, we Jump on it! Randle not #1! Especially if we wanna capitalize on trove of draft pick ( 5 in next 3yrs)....if not we run it back resign everybody to 1 yr deal (think Noel will get more $$ elsewhere)...2022 will be bad teams dream FA, that’s a chance to resign Randle & 2 stars? but use him to recruit ( projected cap 90+mil 2022) & keep some core guys on decent contracts or resign main ones to bigger deals & get 1 star player! Great options we have but what part of core untouchable in potential trade (Barrett? Mitch? IQ? Obi? Etc)

Rose has been playing at an All Star level for the last three seasons, so this season was no "fluke." I think D Rose should/would consider a 1 year offer & bench role to be an insult. 36 year old Chris Paul has turned down his $40 million dollars player's option & is looking for a three year contract. Monty Williams & Devin Booker have to be hoping that the Knicks are the suckers/takers - so they can steal 32 year old Derrick Rose away and actually improve. D Rose (32 years old) would benefit greatly from how Monty Williams handled 36 year old Chris Paul's minutes.

U got it wrong... Kyrie Irving is a big nets fan... He convince KD to come to nets. The nets could have been bad or good... Didn't matter... The nets went out swinging for Kyrie.... All Randle did was improve this year and he ain't even if barely in his prime. Is he a number 1 option....No....but let's be real here they are time and development away from being really good. What they need is a 6th man of the scoring variety. I would blow this up yet.
