I mean a push is a healthy thing too, and good friends are meant to do that to help you. In the worst case, the friend is there and ready to defend the guy coming out if the other guy is homophobic. It's not like a situation where the gay guy is deliberately outed to other people in an act of bullying or sth.

Some people choose not to come out not because they’re scared to, but because its really irrelevant and none of the other person’s business. I'm not out at work, but that’s because it’s none of my coworkers/manager’s business to know, and I’m a private person. Not because I’m “ashamed of who I am”.

I totally agree with you, if you're working, playing with someone or doing anything that doesn't involve sex there's really no need to tell them what you like. I usually only come out in two occasions, if it's relevant to the conversation, or if someone is being homophobic and generalizing. Same reasons for why I don't tell the people I work with what video games I play, or what's my favourite food to my teammates.

Great film discussing masculinity within sports, especially within the LGBT community. A short but great dive into the multiple layers of acceptance within sports while tackling stereotypes within the gay community by using great humour and an uplifting ending.
@jessicammcmahon3 жыл бұрын
This film was great. Especially how you signify the importance of people being openly gay despite the stereotypes and that your true friends will accept you for who you are. I also love the use of humour throughout despite the overall message of the film tackling a very real and serious issue within the Lgbt* community, The actors cast were perfect for the role they each played. I’d love to see more of your work. 😘😘

Don't know how that was so amazing, more of satire if you ask me. This coming out was really pressed and the fact he's gay got nothing to do with the relationship between the two, hence why even bother coming out. All gays are like "we are normal - just like you, it doesn't matter that we're gays" but then act like homosexuality defines them. That's hypocrisy.
