Nice video guys, but one important question, what is the historical standard deviation from your average ROI (2,56%) per trade? It's an important value for the risk of ruin. Best regards from Brazil

Hi Ricardo, I'll see if I can get that for you mate but I'll have to get in touch with our tech guys. We do have that inside our software though for each individual customer.

Dear Trademate Sports, Would placings bets on 1.5 odds reduce variance? What would be the potential downsides to that? Much obliged!
@andreasbalan
@andreasbalan 2 жыл бұрын
use the same soft that they used (its free) and do that math variance on 1.5 odds and see the result. To be profitable, you need a much bigger ROI that it's hard to get in this unpredictable market. 1.8+ should do the trick. Hope my answer helped. Good luck!

Nice video. One question when you say Trade do you mean Bet? If you trade surely you are closing out your position.

@@TrademateSports why don't you just call it BetMate? Or was that name taken? I think it's a long story from when it was called Edgebet

Since using trademate odds usually fall after couple of hours. I wonder could you place a bet when odds fall just Cash out for safe profit..since every bookmakers offer cashout.

This probably looks different in reality because the edge of each bet can always vary and is not a static percentage! Therefore you would always get a mixture of bets with higher or lower edges involved. It would not look like this: 2,5 %, 2,5 %, 2,5 %, 2,5 %, 2,5 %,..........., 2,5%,2,5 %. It would rather look like this: 3,%, 8%, 12%, 2%, 5%,7%,5%,.......,7 %,3%,10%. (assuming you have a higher avg edge for example) I would be careful seeing these calculations as absolute. If you always mix up with higher edges shouldn't that be more protection to the downside also? Betting markets can also have their own character. Mathematically it might look like that but practically there could always be an element of having more mixed results.

"built in edge" against the bookmaker?

We have a 2.5% ROI over millions of trades. That's what he meant by built in edge.
@briggy711

what? Bookmakers have an edge due to trading algorithms and risk management software, not the public. If you have an edger over the bookmaker, why aren't you selling that system? What is your criteria for you 2.5% edge?
