Also, be extra careful if you ever pay for a tipping service. For a start, avoid the big, popular sites with well known tipsters - as soon as they release selections, the odds start tumbling down (literally seconds) so you only ever win a fraction of advertised profits. These sites often advertise profits at £25-£100 per point. Avoid, avoid, avoid, because as soon as your accounts are flagged for making money they'll know exactly which site you're paying for tips

There is only one way to avoid gubbing and that is to keep losing. My fastest gubbing was with a nice new Betbright account. I placed four £5 EW horse bets all at value and was gubbed and the account closed within an hour even before the races went off. I had the stakes returned though! TBH I gave up betting in 2017 as the gubbing finally wore me down. The point is now you get gubbed for winning not for the amount. UK bookies outsource the gubbing function now to specialist service providers so the situation is just going to get worse.

Keep losing wont make a difference, as long as you keep taking close matches to the exchanges in the long term you are not a profitable customer you will be gubbed.

Can you lose a few bets on purpose haha? Just try keep it simple, accumulators are the dumbest thing you can do in bookies eyes

a lot of us bookies have promos that involve "risk free bets" like if your first bet loses you get a bonus bet for the same ammount. So you definately want to lose those on purpose while playing the other side elsewhere.

Try to bet outside of office hours. If you're betting at 11am on Wednesday, you're going to obviously look like a pro... or a bum!
