St Patrick's Athletic are through to the 2023 Sports Direct FAI Men's Cup Final after a 2-0 win over Cork City at Turner's Cross. The Saints will now face Bohemians on November 12th at the Aviva Stadium, in a repeat of the 2021 final.

So is the incident where the bottle was thrown at a player after Pats scored first goal just going to be forgotten about? This seems the Irish solution to a problem i.e. pretend it didn't happen and hope it doesn't happen again. These type of disgraceful incidents are far too common in League of Ireland matches and very little is done about it.
