In a way, we're so remarkably spoiled by highlights that it can be hard to appreciate how incredible and improbable some of these clips are.

Actually I really like this point. Growing up before the internet was hugely popular, I've even experienced this in real life. I saw someone on a bmx bike make a huge jump at a skate park and just thought to myself, "meh, it wasn't that impressive." and also have noticed a desire to try and rewind real life, like one time my sister and I saw a dog do something really goofy and we were laughing hysterically and I blurted out, "Rewind it!"

@@NoProtocol Hi, as always, that was a fine reaction but you must watch "The Beauty Of Football" and then you will see why it is the most popular Sport in most Countries in The World. Please read the Titles at the bottom of the 10-minute video as it gives some context to the clips including a goal that helped Leicester City win The World's best Football League i.e. The English Premier League, at odds of 5,000 to 1. World record odds and over a 38-game domestic season. When a Footballer takes a Penalty then he has to kick it forward but he was cocky and instead of shooting himself(as 99% of players do) he tapped it forward so a colleague could run on and score but they messed it up and lost the Penalty..lol

Lmao rewind it. I also grew up at a time when your childhood ambition was to end up on America's funniest home videos. We are so spoiled now that whenever I see an ad I get angry. I used to wake up Saturday morning and press record for the morning cartoons, I'd go out and play and I'd watch the tape all week. Then record over it next Saturday. I'm only 34 lol. Kids won't know. But I don't pity them.

It is so interesting how we use to have to read out things like this in a newspaper, then we heard it on the radio and now we get to see it forever and even in slow motion.

1:03 Yes, it still counts, but only as 2 points to the opposing team. Although it was beyond the 3 point arc, the NCAA rule reads: Rule 5 Article 4 "When a player scores a field goal in the opponent’s basket, it shall count two points for the opponent regardless of the location on the playing court from where it was released. Such a field goal shall not be credited to a player in the scorebook but shall be indicated with a footnote."

I still think the most "unbelievable" sports clip that would be hard to believe if not filmed is the famous shot of pro baseball pitcher Randy Johnson hitting a bird (perhaps fittingly a _mourning dove_ ) in mid-air during his pitch, causing the bird to basically explode into a bunch of feathers as the 90+ mph fast ball collided with it. Just the pure statistical unlikelihood of it all. Also, basketball highlights would be cool! But I would really love to see some best-of boxing highlight videos if you're into that kind of thing. Boxing and basketball are the two sports I still keep up with to some degree these days when I'm not too busy and are the two main sports I have had some first hand experience in growing up. Technically I had a tiny bit of football experience too, but I've always enjoyed boxing and basketball more personally lol. There are certainly a lot of good highlight videos out there for specific boxers with the long history of the sport and all of the various weight divisions resulting in tons of content. Anyway, great reaction video as usual! I love that you just cut to the chase and get into things and pause when you have an interesting or fun insight to add to the video. Most people drone on for minutes and then have no interesting questions or anecdotes during their "reactions" and it's a breath of fresh air to watch someone that seems like a genuinely curious and fun person. Cheers!

@@SimonJM After a made basket (or the ball goes out of bounds) a team in bounds the ball to resume play. On the full court shot, the player was in bounding the ball, and it went in the basket. Since he himself was out of bounds, it doesn't count as a made basket, but actually awards the ball to the other team, and they would then pass it in from the same spot.
