As a 50 year old that thankfully experienced the whole britpop thing in the mid 90's, I can honestly say thank god for Sports team.. Cracking band that really does evoke memories of Pulp, Supergrass, Space and even Blur.. If Jarvis Cocker and Michael Hutchence had a love child, the lead singer is him!! Am now off to find out more about this band. They've just reignited my passion for new music.. My ramblings are now done!!

Honestly beyond proud of this band. From seeing Kutcher on my Discover Weekly 2 years ago, to seeing them graduate onto the Market Stage at Truck, to the Forum show and them getting signed with Island, to the album, been light years ahead of everyone else the whole time. Most exciting band in Britain without a doubt and my god they still haven't stopped getting better. Obscenely good.
