It's a lot easier not to be overly attached to anything in the PC when you have people coming up to you with insane offers for your cards lol. If you're into cards to sell/flip/profit only, then it's a good lesson to learn, but if you're into cards for the love of it as well, then it is good to have a PC/have a few cards that you're not willing to part with for your own reasons.

There are some who are just strictly collectors, and while flippers serve their purpose I guess, not everything has to be an investment. Geoff is in that 1 to 3 percent, who can just buy pretty much any card when he wants, but most people are not in that luxury.

I thought that was a great trade for Geoff. There’s still some risk with modern and active players/cards. Vintage baseball wasn’t mass produced like today on top of no potential scandals coming out of a deceased Ruth and Mantle. And he still gets the greats of modern times in Jordan and Curry on top of cash that he could put in a high yield account to generate 5% interest in todays economy.
