900's and mctwists look cool and all but nothing on vert is more majestic than a rock n roll

He Makes these tricks look easy, but they take a lot of practice. It took me a while to learn fakie rock and rolls, rock and rolls, and 50 50 grinds on vert. But, it’s some of the most fun you’ll ever have skating.

KZbin needs more vert tutorials! It's definitely not like mini ramp skating where you can figure stuff out whilst having a laugh with your mates.

Love these! Old but gold. Truly inspiring and shows that you can learn anything and everything with hard work, dedication, persistance, perseverence, patience, practise and passion for what you are doing!

I’ve grown up street skating for like the past 15 years. I recently started learning transition (mini ramp lip tricks). But watching all these tricks on vert gives me anxiety lol

Just follow the process and practice... you'll feel on top of the world when you land it...most of it is mental...stay calm as you can and knee slide if you miss a part and have to bail...Adman (47years oldOG)

Why do all vert skaters use their tail to slow down?
@zkaterr53143 жыл бұрын
NSS they don’t need the pop maybe or just have a lot of boards
@wantmeX3 жыл бұрын
@@zkaterr5314 ye they need almost no pop
@badsn3 жыл бұрын
he is using his heel, not the tail. hence the squeaking noise.

also bc verts are usually made of wood, they're much less abrasive than asphalt or concrete

pump ;) watch some videos of people riding vert and try to feel the way you've seen people look. You can start with some heuristics like try to bend just before the flat zone ends, than 'jump' up (but stay on the board ;)) and when you're reaching the top, bend again so you have better balance but after a while it will become natural and based on the feeling rather than specific movements in order
