Great stuff! There's not enough vert tutorials on youtube so I'm always stoked to see your vert lessons.

Thanks Mitchie, for the beginner tips. The vert ramps I have been on so far have all felt really slippery compared to mini ramps, so the power sliding practice will help me a lot.

Just came across your channel and subbed! Vert skating has always seemed like there is such a high barrier to entry, but your channel makes it seem way more accessible. its super good for the sport and i love the videos!

Would the power slide be true on transition? If not, I wonder what the “weightless” maneuver would be for bowl skating.

Can you practice the power slide technique on a smaller quarter pipe or bowl or does it require a fair amount of vert?

Is there any suggestions/advice to do it on a rough concrete, theres no smooth ramp around my place

Do those power slides in vert, translate to 3 to 6 foot ramps? Or do you really need the vert part to do the powerslide? I tried on a 5 ft the other day and freaked out, jumped off...

😂 intermediate is so ambiguous lol like “sure I can do a backside rock!” (What about on 2 feet of vert?) “uhhhhhhh”

its tough to estimate skill levels we dont really have a rating system lol

@@Skateiq I had this stretch for about ten years where progression for me felt like “stuff I know I can do…on bigger walls” if that makes sense (?) I guess If I skated street more…it would kinda be like “I know I can Ollie a 3 step, so I am going to nerve-up to Ollie this 5”….for me it was “ok I can pop over this 4 foot hip, so I will go pop over this 6 foot hip in a bigger bowl”
