How do you guys I attach your leader to your main line

You can do it two ways - either tie the braid direct to the fluorocarbon with a uni knot. Or you can use a barrel swivel to tie the braid to one end and the leader material to the other.

Not impressed with any of northlands deep vee jigs or hair jigs. Not sure if they use the same hooks on the tungsten jigs but they are brittle and the hook can break on weak line. Not cool for how much everyone wants to charge. The bulk cheap bronze hooks are better and sharpen better too.

I completely agree with you on the hooks Northland have been using. I have jigs I bought years ago and the hooks are sharp and durable. All the new packs of jigs I bought last Fall have flimsy brittle hooks like you said. For the prices we pay for gear they could use a better hook at least! Hope I don’t lose any monster fish due to a faulty hook!

Interesting feedback - we have caught lots of fish on the deep-vee and never had a hook break…yet. Will pass the info along.

I wish someone would give me an opportunity to work with them. I've been fishing my whole life. I'm a combat Veteran with a business degree and probably one of the best walleye Fishermen there is today. I've learned that the fishing industry isn't about what you know it's about who you know.

Yea every net job the hook already fell out in the net. And barely hooked barely. Not sure those hooks would be ideal. Just saying. I think northland should go back to the drawing board sorry on those hooks. Otherwise awesome show love you guys! Sara what sun glasses are those my wife wants them just like you!
