What rods do u normally use for Walleye?

Depends on what technique, presentation or even lake we are fishing. A perfect all around walleye rod in our opinion would be a 7’ Medium action, fast tip. Anything else let us know!

Great video, your fish really cooperated for you. Some decent eyes in there. Really interested in rods which you are using, figure they must be medium light action and about 7ft. long. Have found you don't miss very many fish once hooked up, as you let the rod fight the fish, not the big human on the end of the rod. The bend is your friend.

What knot do you use for your hooks, jigs, swivels, line to line that is working for you?

We go with the standard fisherman’s knot or Trilene knot. Easy and fast!!
