99 Times positive feedback but people only remember the 1 and only negative comment

@@jolbertti7421it wasn’t just a “negative comment”. The a-hole said that a player tied for 11th in scoring was lazy and didn’t put the work in over the summer. A player that is the teammate and friend of his son. A player that he could have EASILY verified the claim, but didn’t, and spouted off because he’s a talentless loser. Ismo got to play in Liiga on two different bottom 3 teams in the 1980s and was terrible. He should shut his mouth and vanish from the sports world. Maybe they’ll let him into professional clowning 😂😂

he was being sarcastic and nobody appears to get it

On the contrary, he's probably boasting how his remarks sparked Rantanen and he did him a favor.

@@Kallogee sure thing. That’s why he never corrected it and never reached out to Rantanen to explain that he was “being sarcastic”. People didn’t just invent that narrative after the fact to cover for a moron.

Got away with a nice pick.

What do you idiots want him to do in that scenario? Jump out of the way? He doesn’t intentionally obstruct anybody, he follows his natural line after dropping the puck. The Sabres d-man was running into HIS OWN PLAYER if he doesn’t hit Nate first regardless lmao. There’s no pick there. What there is, is a bad player trying desperately to cover for his poor positioning and lack of speed by closing the gap, thinking Nate is trying to squeeze between them before he does a drop-pass to Rantanen

@@longliverocknroll5 buddy... mackinnon knew exactly what he was doing throwing that pick. he isn't following his natural line after dropping the puck. he turns to his left, straight into the sabre rofl. the homerism is strong with this one

Watch again, defenseman engaged MacKinnon
@Cynthesis2111 ай бұрын
You obviously don't know hockey. If the defenseman had decided to lay a check on Mackinnon after he dropped the puck, no one would have cried interference. There's a grace period of a couple of seconds after a player dishes the puck. That grace period doesn't only apply to the defender... As the puck carrier, you are still allowed to counter check/hold your ground/maintain your direction immediately after the pass. It's risky cause the defender can lay you out. But not if you're Mackinnon.
