I love the guy’s toughness but that giveaway on the 2nd goal at 1:35 made his overall impact on the game a negative one, did it not? Don’t get me wrong though, my team doesn’t win enough for me to care how they get 2 points as long as they get it. I’m just here to scout which Ranger(s) are going to be Canucks this week after the Miller trade…. So GG but yeah with goaltending and defence like that (including Hutson going up the boards on the 1st goal like a beer leaguer) you’re still a long way from playoffs habs 🙂

What a great hockey game to watch! To win a game like this one after the fiasco against the Leafs shows the grit and fortitude of this Canadiens hockey team! Johnathan Quick was unbelievable in goal for the Rangers and was the reason the Canadiens didn't score 4-5 more goals! Rempe should have gotten a instigator penalty instead of just the extra two for roughing! The instigator penalty usually also means a 10 minute or even a game misconduct and the refs failed there .... the officiating was pretty poor for the whole game so that failure is not surprising! What a relief it was to be listening to the Rangers commentary of Sam Rosen and Joe Micheletti instead of SN announcers! Sam was great calling the game ....accurately! my opinion 🦂🥂
