@@zotrinb5888 Essentially they are abusing a system that allows you to put your talent on the Injured Reserve list, getting them off of your teams cap limit so you can go snatch up a bunch of talent at the draft without going over your cap. Then, when the playoffs start you're allowed to pull said injured player off IR, be technically over the cap thanks to your new talent acquisitions and your returned injured talent combined, and that's legal. The issue is legally speaking if your guys get healthy you HAVE to take them off IR the second they can play... That's the rules. And the last two years in a row Vegas's injured IR talent just happens to get healthy for game 1 of the playoffs at the most implausible timing ever. It's pretty clear and blatant cheating and it pisses every other team off. Also, they've got players like Pietrangelo who is skating around trying to break guys noses and snap peoples wrists. Just a goonish, openly cheating team and literally every team in the league is calling them out for it.

As a Sharks fan both Hertl and Pavelski have 1 point COMBINED in 5 games. It is so disappointing and totally shocking they both are non factors. I saw Hertl give Pavelski a mini crosscheck to the back. I say mini because it is one you can get away with and not be called a penalty. So much for the 6 years they were teammates. There was one sharks vs stars game in San Jose and Pavelski went to the penalty box and the sharks scored and they showed Pavelski leaving the box and he looked really upset. He really did not look like a shark anymore in that moment. If I was a player I would fully commit to my new team too so I am not judgmental here. I still would be very happy for either winning the cup. The Canes and Brent Burns vs Dall / Vegas is my ideal championship game. From a Sharks POV trading Hertl looks a lot smarter now but hopefully both Hertl and Pavs score in game 6. As for this game I just want to say when he is frustrated Alex Pietrangelo has no ability to not play dirty. He is the most dislikable knights player for that reason alone. If a sharks player played like a goon my opinion of them would drop too. The Stars defense is clearly frustrating the knights offense. May the best team win the West.

@@untexan It really is amazing he has played good NHL hockey for as long as he has. Father time was going to win the faceoff vs him sooner or later. Pavs will always be a sharks legend and still had some legend years in dall before this. Plus being a 7th round pick and being American his career is legendary. Sadly if this keeps up Dall might be better off to replace him in the playoffs but he is obviously still a leader / coach to the youngsters.

Hertl is the only player in sharks history to guarantee victory before a game and score the game winning goal himself shorthanded. Plus Gordon Ramsey was in the crowd in a knights jersey. 2 mins for a backhand to the nose? AND it drew blood!! He should have been kicked from the game or at least a 4 minute double minor? That was the worst call I've ever seen.

Yeah Conor Garland got cheapshotted after the whistle and it drew blood. Wasn't even two minutes that time. I get it's the playoffs, but a punch to the face that draws blood needs to be a penalty, and it should be more than 2 imo.

Double minors are only a thing for high sticking. Everything else is either major or minor.
