Nuno Matos is indeed a great commentator but nobody beats Jorge Perestrelo! He was the commentator for the Portugal-England match back in 2004 Eurocup. This one was a very intense game, there were reports of people literally having heart attacks both at home and in the stadium! The Style and intensity of Jorge Perestrelo made the sport bigger.

All of those lead to one thing goal scoring But when we look closer Messi is the better passer if not the best passer in the game rn, best chance creator,has a heatmap of a midfielder, creates the most shot creating actions per game , completes decisive more passes in the final third, better freekick technique, better vision etc all this and he still matches Ronaldo's goal tally , while we all know Cristiano's tactical role is to basically stay near the box and score. Don't get me wrong you've said it right but Cristiano is just a perfect and complete goalscorer , while Messi is the complete footballer ( a midfielder who can assist , Playmake and still win the golden boot ) but for CR7 he thrives on assists and his tenure at juve can bear witness to what I'm saying.

It was a penalty, period. Fifa referees didn't notice Costa's elbow on Pepe just before the 1st goal of spain... what do you have to say about that ? Amazingly they came up yesterday and apologized for the "confusion" between the referee and the ones on VAR, that allowed spains goal. Sorry but CR7 IS FAR FROM BEING a complete player. He lacks dynamism and movement. For example, when Cristiano Ronaldo is counter-attacking through the right side, we miss a Cristiano Ronaldo on the left to receive his pass. Or a Cristiano Ronaldo in between to support a necessary triangulation. So, no, he has many defects still. He needs to solve this or else will never be great.
