@@johnrwalker53 That’s because (unfortunately) the NFL is more popular than the NHL. I don’t personally like NFL anymore, but people still love it? NHL is just a much better sport in my opinion and when the playoffs start and the officials put away the whistle is when the physicality goes up to 10 (right now the physicality is only around a 3 or 4) It’s the greatest sport in the world to watch and play!

The Lightning usually start slow and quickly build up momentum until last year where they started slow and kept playing mediocre all year. This year it seems they started strong and despite ups and downs have played extremely well all season. Hope to see them deep in the playoffs and maybe another Stanley this season. Go Bolts!!!

I don't think we have enough grit in the team again to make another deep run. Fast and skilled players look great in the regular season, but get out muscled in the play offs.

@@01TA Not off in terms of skill, he is clearly checked out knowing the team infront of him is a hot mess RN and that Drury will do nothing to help. He should've thought of this when he signed his contract, but atleast he secured the bag. He is still top 3 in the league and if he actually has a competent team ahead of him can make ANY team win the Stanley. Just imagine what the NYR dressing room is like right now? even the practice sessions. Imagine the conversations the players are having between themselves let alone the coaches. Sadly they let it go so far that there is no quickfix anymore, they thought trading Trouba/Kakko would light a spark but it did the opposite, then Drurys handling of Kreider seem to have pissed half the team off aswell ( Weak mental on legit almost all players in NYR bar Cuylle and a few others)

if the rangers could have scored early on, especially on that one attempt that which the player could have handled the puck, early on but decided to take a swing in the air. If they can just get some momentum going..... as a hockey team it will build the team confidence and also the confidence of Sheesty. Panarin is bomb! he is really when he gets good looks. But the scoring prowess is gone. You guys have an amazing all star team. Just try to get your hockey IN GAME groove back. Focus on the small very small things that makes the team , the new york rangers team as a team. NOT the politics that which relate to the press conference before or after. I believe 100% if this is done there will be better athlete voices speaking in the ice game time itself. But until then it is a narrative of the media, the anger, the hurt voices of disgruntled issues of what is happening in the team. This is something that can be cut out from the hockey itself. It is hard and it is hurtful when people are playing with issues that they have against the management. Do it for new york, do not do it for me some rander m.f that is writting sht here. I actually like the rangers. They are a super attractive team they have the potential to play great offence. But they need to focus IMO (my opinion) on the game itself.
