@@krasteff look it's easy to look at statistics and say that vasilevskiy was better. You can't just look at the g.a.a and the svs% to determine which goalie played better. The thing is the more shots you get on you the easier it is to hold a high svs%, why? Because the more shots you get on you, you will be more stressed, it will probably be dominant by the other team at times, and the goalie gets worn down quicker. Then on top of that the team that get more chances also get more high danger chances per shot. This is because often if you let more shots on your goalie that will result in more dangerous rebounds and on top of that the team with more shots against usually also have a worse defense.

Many teams peak too early in the regular season and can't maintain the level of play in the playoffs when everything is on the line. Tampa paces itself better than anyone. They don't always dominate in the regular season but they always manage to find that extra gear and play their best once the games really start to matter.

Our expectations became dangerously high after being up 2-0, the team did 100% face fatigue after the first few games… but what an amazing season and I’m so happy to know that we’ll be competetive again next year and for years to come. We weren’t supposed to make it this far lol. What a magical season, a huge experience for the young guys and the team in general. I guess if the Rangers were going to lose to any team in the league might as well be to the defending Cup champions. The Rangers had a chance to go up 3-0 in the series in game 3. They blew it. Tampa completely dominated games 4 and 6. Game 5 was close, could have gone either way. Igor was brilliant throughout the series. Once Vasilevskiy found his game the series was basically over though. Rangers will learn from this. The future is bright indeed especially if Igor plays like this next season. Congrats to Tampa on their series victory. Stanley Cup final should be interesting.

Pat Maroon has now won his 15th straight playoff series going back to 2019. Proud of the Rangers for their accomplishment a team that surprised many with their young talent a team that were not even thought of for the playoffs yet made the final four and kept it's fans at the edge of their seats. Congratulations to Gallant for a outstanding job with this team. The team still needs some tuning but this run gave it's fans a lot to cheer about in our city.

They struggled all playoffs don't be fooled it was bc of heavily injured teams with AHL backups and regular back ups is to why they got this far. Also Igor is a god he's won 80% of these games himself he gets no help at all. Brutal 5v5 and defensively all playoffs

@@paulthompson8793 As a Rangers fan and new to Hockey as a Dominican sports fan, I agree. What good does having a top tier goalie do for you if you can't score. That's like baseball. What good does having a top pitcher do if your team can't score runs for him to win? Still the Rangers have a talented young roster that can compete for years to come. They rebuilded soon and they drafted Kappo Kakko who can be an elite player someday and Zibanejad, Kreider, are amazing players. We have the roster but it wasn't our time yet to win. Let the Lightning get the 3 peat but Rangers will be back! We have Galant as coach, our team is good, we can be better.
