Gotta be honest, it might have been better than the previous game, but it still is unwatchable to me. Five minutes in, I was done. I simply have no interest in a game of non-competitive shinny, even with the best players in the world.

@@debestcanadian I think what the NHL should do it is, where players are 23 & under they play players who're 24 & older. That would make the game competitive because the younger players will definitely want to try hard to win against the older players. I say that based on watching the 2016 World Cup of Hockey where Team North America (which only had players 23 & younger) played really hard & wanted to prove their skill to other teams, which where comprised of older opponents.

@@jimross3593 I agree that the young North American team was fantastic at the last World Cup. But honestly I don't think that would make a bit of difference at an All Star game. There's no evidence that "young vs old" would be any different than "East vs West" or "NA vs World" as have been done before. It's still an exhibition that means nothing. The World Cup was *real* hockey, with actual stakes that the players were willing to give their full effort to.

Lol, these guys going on about Dahlin and Josi and never even mention Makar... Josi is amazing -- nothing away from him, but how can you leave out Makar when you're discussing offensive D-men? He's got 18 goals to Josi's 13 on the year (FIVE of those game-winning goals!), and a +/- of 27 to Josi's 7... To be fair, Josi has 44GP to Makar's 40, and 31 assists to 26, but I mean come on, give them BOTH credit. Love defense. Hope we see a lot more offensive defense--it makes the game a lot more fun to watch IMO.

Well hindsight is 20/20, when Kadri got traded everyone in Toronto hated him and it was after one of the worst years in his career. I definitely didn't expect him to go to Colorado and have the glow up that he has had.

That's why I started calling him "Connor Mckadri" a few weeks ago-lol! And to think,many Av fans wanted to get rid of him over his suspension last playoffs. I was mad at him...his absence really hurt vs Vegas. Kadri had a rough season last year...but Vegas,& Karlson's line just DESTROYED everybody we tried to center that 2nd line. I fully expected Naz to rebound this season. But by rebound,I meant 60-70 points...maybe hit his career high...but NOT DOUBLE IT! I do think he will still slow down,but 100 point season would be unbelievable...even 90 would still be way beyond belief. Unfortunately,he's probably playing his way out of Denver. We just can't afford him under the cap. And with Newhook ready to reasonably replace him on that 2nd line...I can't see him coming back. But hopefully Naz finishes strong,has a good playoff,& we can send him out with a parade. Then he will always have a special place in Av history,& I'll pull for him,(assuming he doesn't sign with Minnesota,or Dallas-lol)& he will get freaking paid,which I completely understand. If he leaves,I will have no ill will towards him...just don't get suspended this playoff Naz...you are way to valuable to us. And the NHL only holds you accountable,while guys like Tom Wilson,& Ryan Reeves,(far dirtier players than Naz)-get total blank checks,& free passes.
