My dad lived in Detroit when he was younger and went to UV there. He was a big Red Wings fan. He liked Fedorov, Sawchuk, Delvecchio, those guys. He also liked Orr, the Hulls, Belfour, Lafleur, Plante, and others.

For about 3-4 years, PK was one of the best offensive dmen alongside Karlsson. P.s. Makar is a d-man in his 2nd year, how does he resemble Iginla- a forward who played the game for 2 decades? The hatred for PK Subban sometimes is unreal, you'd think he was a Matt Cooke or a criminal. Sometimes it makes me wonder how much of it isn't purely down to hockey from a sports fanbase that loses their mind when NHL puts up the rainbow flag or mentions any rappers.

Typical PK just pandering to the media. You can say highlights and replays of old games but I don’t buy it. I was born in 76 and Orr was just a legend that I saw clips of on rock’em sock’em videos. Yes I’m aware of his accomplishments but the lack of exposure in the era that I started watching hockey, would never make him my favourite player growing up.
