Never really followed Johnny Hockey but you can tell what a great dude this guy must have been. My wedding was after he and his brother passes, and im from NJ, so this horrible event really hits me hard. Its incredibly sad. They should put the dad in the hockey hall of fame for all hes given to the sport.

The hockey world isn't just a community, it's a FAMILY, and when we lose a member of that family, we honour them. Especially when the members are taken WAY too soon. RIP Johnny, RIP Matthew. You may be lost, but you are certainly NOT FORGOTTEN ❤

Okay, let's get one thing straight here, guys yesterday's loss had nothing to do with our players or the game itself. I’m telling you, the ice in Vegas was a complete joke. The conditions were brutal, not even NHL-standard. It was like skating on a slush puddle. Plus, let’s not forget, half the team was probably still recovering from their 'team bonding' at the casinos the night before. Vegas isn’t exactly the best place to focus on hockey, if you know what I mean. Honestly, if they didn’t have to deal with all that nonsense off the ice, we would’ve won 5-0. Just bad luck, folks. Flames got lucky today they won’t win again honouring a player that left their franchise

At some point we have to stop doing this to Sean Monahan, right? Grieving in private is hard, one of the hardest things you'll have to go through. But grieving on a public stage like this must be horrendous 😢 I didnt even know Johnny or his family and I'm in bits every single time a tribute is played, I can't imagine what it's like for close friends, who then have to go on and play a hockey game 🥺 Much love to the entire Gaudreau family ❤
