Actually it is the only ways to keep milk or better yet the cream because, of lack of oxygen. You try to squeeze a cream carton as you use it by getting as much air out of it and seal it. I get two weeks life without going bad, that means a month and not going bad. That should be applied to any drincable drinks specially milk products and wines. Oxygen is the bad thing to any liquids.

Ok why do people take bagged milk as such a stereotype… I’m from western Canada and have never seen a bag of milk outside of Ontario and even in Ontario I still see more jugs of milk… I’m mad 😡

Bagged milk was normal in b.c until about 15 years ago. You'd get it everywhere.

Vancouver is pretty americanized because of the Hollywood influence that keeps coming up there. Milk in bags are a very east coast Canadian thing in smaller rural areas/towns than very metropolitan cities, especially in the west. I say this having been born in Ontario and moved to BC and back and forth a couple of times in my life.

It's a weird list... some of them are more regional (bagged milk is Eastern Canada only, Beavertails pretty Quebec specific) and then some like Degrassi or Shain Twain are pretty dated, as in not relevant since the early 2000s lol

Visiting my in-laws southern Greece. Morning pouring milk with cereal. Both of my kids spat it out. Im ready to get milk at store. My father in law says it’s fresh just collected from my friend. I’m like oh no we’re Canadian we don’t drink milk directly from cows or goats. We only drink from milk bags. Their totally confused 🤔

lol I enjoy seeing all the Albertan's butthurt in the comments over how bagged milk is only in "stupid Ontario". It's actually still used in most of Eastern Canada, and used to be common in the west up until the 80s. Such an odd thing to be mad about hahaha
