@@2727rogers Yeah, you can't put any (direct) blame on IKF; he's one of the only players who is actually performing up / close to expectations at this very, very early stage in the season. The hate he's getting is all related to people wanting to see other players in his place in the lineup, so until he starts batting .300 it's never going to let up.

Well when the Jays do something that as never been done before in the modern era of baseball, since 1901, that is pretty bad. No team as ever been no hit and 1 hit in a series ever. The win was no great shakes either. Thanks to Turner taking a walk, by the way the one stat the Jays are actually doing a great job at so far, and a 2 run blast by Schneider it could have been far worse than it already was. Also why is Schneider not the full time second baseman for the Jays. Sick of seeing sleepy Biggio napping out there on the field and at bat.

can't believe the best the jays can do was to get mark shapiro from the cleveland guardi's only to have one of the best current GM in the league named alex anthopoulos leave the jays saying he couldn't work with him because shapiro is "too hands on and controlling to properly be a GM" and turn the braves into one of the best teams in the MLB. Only to have shapiro having to bring his crappy GM friend atkins from the guardians... like wake up toronto... signs where there once double A left as GM for the braves. another case is jays manager john farrell even leaving the jays and in his first year with the red sox he brought the last place red sox to winning the pennant? like what's the point in watching shapiro/atkins toronto guardians when we want to watch the toronto blue jays?

Long time Jays die hard - BUT - why am I watching this season? because Shapiro built a better Skydome! It is not enjoyable. Too many decisions made towards defense and left handed hitting at the cost of offense. It makes me sick to see those boys in Arizona rake, while Varsho continues to hit below or around the Mendoza line with no bat contact and soft hitting numbers with men on base. Varsho IS NOT A GOOD HITTER - he is a catcher, reverted to an OF and has no business batting 5th or 6th. Catcher's typically aren't good hitters, and Varsho is proving it, and playing him and Kirk/Jensen back to back in the batting order is a massive whole right after your best hitters. Springer should NOT BE LEADING OFF - his day at the top is done! VGJ will always be a mediocre hitter who makes awful decisions, with some pop, he is a 5 hole batter - NOT 2 or 3 or 4. Kuch and Bowden in NY this weekend - will be lucky to win Gausman's game.

I don't think Vlady and Bichette are going to get what they want. This is not the leafs and MLSE. It's rogers. It has been so sad to watch this downfall. The writing is on the way in so many ways. The fact that all the KEY latin American players have gone has made Vlady a ghost. The homerun jacket is gone and now you have one of the worst 6-9 hitters in the game. No energy in the clubhouse. Please start playing Babe Schneider and Ernie Clement. I will say that Justin Turner has been a big surprise and after hearing him talk about the Jays, he is a winner. Don't ever think that blue jay fans are like the leafs. Most won't pay the ridiculous prices they will charge this year. The stands will be half empty by June if something is not done.
