I don’t wanna sound negative but I’m officially concerned about making the playoffs. I know it’s Colorado and Florida and I know Larkin was out. I don’t care. You CANNOT be outscored 11-2 while giving up over 90 shots over two games and expect to be a playoff team. We’ve been subpar this season against strong competition, and there’s a lot of that coming up, especially on the road. Something needs to change and fast, or we’ll fall out of a playoff spot just as quickly as we surged into one. I love this team forever but it’s really starting to get frustrating

Pump the breaks. This team has been consistently getting better every year. It literally doesn’t matter if they are a first round out. It’s the first time this group will make the playoffs and experience is the thing they need. They don’t need to shake anything up. Defense has been the worst part about this team. Their best defensemen is a 22 year old sophomore going up against the greatest hockey players playing at the highest level and he looks average. Which is AMAZING for, again, a 22 year old sophomore. Reactionary outbursts don’t build dynasties.

When the Avs get their two new players they picked up today, watch out! Adding Casey Mittelstadt and losing Johansen, it's like a double win. Not to mention picking up Sean Walker as well, who is having a great season. This team if they can stay healthy, is going to be a blast to watch.

This team will be TERRIFYING if all regular players play. It makes it that much sweeter that this was against the Dead Wings.

I dont mean to be "that guy" I dont get where people think this is a good team and a team that can compete in the playoffs (if they even make it lol) I dont see it even in a few years just way too many holes everywhere. Lyon is below average (statistically) our defense is laughable and though Raymond and Seider have taken a step it wasn't the step we thought. This is not a contender and won't be for a while. We can beat bad teams all day but when it comes to competing against good teams we aren't good enough.

It's called Hart Trophy, but yeah, he's pretty close, but so is Kucherov. MacKinnon is now at 109 points, Kucherov is at 105. The voters don't care about advanced stats, even though they should. If they did, MacKinnon would've and should've easily won the Hart Trophy in 2018 and 2020, but he got snubbed both times.
