Glad for Drouin finding his game and having fun again. Unfortunately in MTL he just had so much bad puck luck and bad management, Bergevin. You don't forget how to play overnight. Wrong situation for him. Nice story of a "comeback".

Bergivian wasn’t a terrible gm. He just made really high risk/ high reward moves. Brought the team to the Stanley cup final in 2021 without Drouin

Im just saying, Montreal just dint know how to handle Drouin. They force him to play Center his first Year. To be THE GUY. Pressure is on him. And he was the only skilled player they got at the time. Look at his production in Tampa and Colorado. Its on Montreal not Drouin’s Fault. Good for him though.

They tried him at center for one season only. He put that pressure on himself. He wasn't paid to be the top dog. Just be a contributer on the top 6. And he didn't deliver. Don't fault the habs. Montreal was just too much for Drouin, and that's ok. I wish him all the best in Colorado.
