That Jack Hughes goal though. Good game Devils. Kraken can't afford to drop games when they are on the outside of the playoff picture in a loaded Western Conference. On to Long Island tomorrow afternoon.

Jack Hughes is starting to patent his own goal move - the 0 angle off the goalie-helmet. That's the 3rd or 4th one of his short career already.

@@Vic01_78 He was never worth 8.8 even in his prime on the sharks. NJ does not use Timo like the sharks did which makes the trade and contract even more insane. Timo could easily be a point a game player if the offense was all about Timo but the devils have no desire to use him that way.

Not exactly what we were expecting after the playoff push last year....which is looking more like a fluke at this rate. Perhaps if more players were actually TRYING to do something out there...

I feel expansion teams are usually either bad for a few years or up and down and streaky for a few years. Kraken seem to be the latter - bad year one, great year two and mid year three. Fluke seems harsh - getting to two game 7s in the playoffs is not easy or lucky.
