Shesty is the only goalie in the damn league who has looked consistently ready for the season. Every other goalie has had at least a single train wreck of a game or half game. Shesty's been remarkable just steady and consistent. Flashy saves yes, but also just rock steady and consistent.

Lafreniere is already a good player. Not everyone opens up at the age of 18. I remember how Panarin played for Vityaz at the age of 18. He didn’t do much.. And at the age of 20 he was already a leader in the game. Although Vityaz in Russia is an outsider with tough guys like Darcy Vero, Chris Simon, Jablonski and Mirasty. So ,аfter these "masters", Lafreniere is just a godsend on the flank))

There are definitely some good players on the roster but I think the league nowadays is also about who are your weakest roster spots and the team with the highest floor can prevail. I have appreciated the Wings and Rangers games over the last couple of years as the fanbases are much more respectful of one another as some other dumps like Jersey or Pittsburgh. But the Rangers are like a few years ahead of the Wings on a rebuild/retool. I was really hoping for a Kane reunion on BWay but it didn’t happen. Hoping he can continue his ways and help the team be in the mix til the deadline when moves can be made to improve. GL this season!
