I have heard of Robert Mensah while growing up. I am from Congo (former Zaire). This keeper was a legend in my country as well. His death shocked the nation given that it was few weeks after his game in Kinshasa against the TP Mazembe. I wasn't born at the time of his death but the old generation is still talking about Robert Mensah up to now Unfortunately, this documentary has no English subtitles

Everything is on point. I was glued to my laptop and never wanted to blink an eye lol. Great production by all standards. I wished the old videos were longer though, back then people never understood the essence of keeping pictures and videos for future references.

I remembered he was with Dwarfs and he left to Sekondi Independence a soccer club formed by Nkurumah. After the 1966 coup, he and former Dwarfs players rejoined Dwarfs again. I used to go to Victoria Park every Tuesday to Friday evening to watch them practicing until I moved to Accra to start my new job.

I was at Cape Coast sport stadium at that time. I still remember the match between Kotoko and Dwarfs . They beat Kotoko 5 goals to nail. Thank you for your service to Ghana and Kotoko.

So refreshing memories of a legend, Robert Mensah, we should have a football Hall of fame where information of such super heroes can be archived for present and future generations, the archives should include video and written documentation on the lives of such heroes. I remember very well I was a very young boy. The whole country was in a state of mourning! I am sad relieving this tragic moment. My Congolese friends in London remember him very well as a great goalkeeper indeed because their local team called Englebert of Zaire. Till now the Congolese have great respect for Robert Mensah, Kotoko football club and Ghana. It's sad what happened Robert Mensah!!!

Senior Obama..You are one in a million, you really inspired me a lot and one day I will tell CID To bring me to your place just to shake hands with you keke..Story telling was on point and it’s lovely to watch as well..From what Osei Kofi was narrating de3 I think Robert Mensah was a Giant Goalie paaa..His Childhood friend made me cried when he said they were expecting Asante Kotoko to at least take care of his children but nothing of such happen..Meanwhile Kotoko is a very rich club in Africa here 😭😭.. I always advice myself not to indulge into fights, His friend didn’t do well at all..How can u stabbed your own hometown brother , So Seniormahn Saddick did the police arrest him afterwards because I heard nothing of such in the story telling oohh Once again..Godbless you 🙏🏿✌🏿💯
