It pains my heart as a huge fan of Virat seeing him change from being someone who used to play every single shot in test cricket except cut shot against pacers and sweep shot against spinners till 2017 something to then gradually play only cover drives and pull shots to now in last few years only rely on cover drives. What has happened to him that he just can't control his lust for cover drives even on a seaming pitch and not play other shots like pull shots which he regularly still plays in white ball cricket.

​​@@indian-fc8mdBro, I am a big admirer of Rohit too and having been watching him closely since he has become an opener in tests, I feel he has been our best batsman in tests on seaming and turning pitches. He rarely gets out playing a loose shot on seaming pitches and a bowler always has to bowl a really good ball to get him out in slips or to wicketkeeper while he is defending a ball. The only bad shot he gets out playing in tests is pull otherwise he has mostly stood tall in tough conditions in last few years.

Ashwin is the king of dust bowls , rank turners and doctored pitches. He has taken all his five wkt hauls in india and all his hundreds also came in india. Hes the greatest alrounder on dusty pitches. But obviously that wont work in Australia and we will have to look at other alrounders
