So cool to see the Sportsters en masse. If it wasn’t for the Sportster, Harley may not exist. Yes, I ride a Sportster. This was very cool to see.

@@TheWurks I’m on my 2nd Sportster Custom 1200. I traded my 2012 in for a 2014. I’ve had them for 5 years. Honda before that. I live about an hours ride from the HD York,PA plant. I actually worked there in the early 80’s as part of a team to computerize the assembly line. This was back when HD just repurchased the brand from AMF. Lots of stories. It’s also where I first came in contact with the Sportster. It fit good then, it fits good now. I am 74 and can handle the weight nicely. If I can’t pick it up….. I won’t ride it. Wow! That was a fair old bike meet! A bit bigger than my group of friends meeting on the Costa Del Sol. Although in April we had a special ride out. 7 of us, 4 nights/5 days in Morocco. To the Sahara and back over the Atlas mountains. Good memories.

Wahoo... Rolling Thunder.. what else can you call a gathering of Harleys.. Sportster at that, if a few years younger, would love a 883. Was one young Lady in Morrisons, Cannock this Tuesday, glanced curly hair as passing self-check out.. Twin if not.
