Man thats awesome. I watched his build videos on that bike. Billy seems such such a good dude. Really makes me appreciate my 07 fatboy. It does all I need it to. Got detachable bad and windshield. Just can't go wrong with it.
@craigwilliams10735 сағат бұрын
I agree! I'm 5'9" and this bike is perfect height for me. APES I say are stupid and have never used them. They would be perfect for a 6'7" guy with a 6' arm span. Sheilds are great for long ride, where no shield is great for touring around town. Thanks, wish I would have made it to the shop in PA.
@volvo094 сағат бұрын
Yeah, on a long highway ride no windshield SUCKS, the pressure on your chest just adds up over time and you just want the highway portion to end.

My 94 heritage softail is the most dangerous bike I've owned. Not because it's fast, but because it's just so slow and the stock brakes are not great whatsoever. But it looks cool and sounds great so it's staying with me.

I have a ‘99 Heritage Softail, I have always loved the Fatboy, but I wouldn’t trade my Softail. It was a chassis and a box of parts when my friend acquired it, and he rebuilt it with a Ultima Performance motor- 127 cubic inches for the power plant. My friend wants to buy it back, but there’s no way in hell I’m selling it

Says the traditional gauge will last forever, vs screens….speedo is stuck at 20 when sitting still. I agree though, screens get dated and look bad compared to dials.

The part I'm not fond of Harleys is the fairings that look like "Bender" from "Futureama". I hate that look. I wish they'd make the Fat Boy with their new motor. They could call it the Enola Gay series.

Why customize a bike and keep the crappy original brakes? If you wanna ride, you sometimes need to stop. Any japanese, german, british or italian bike will have twice as good brakes as this one.

@PossumSwanger44 сағат бұрын
Have you ever done either? Because I have to disagree.. both are actually super fun to do.. now if you are doing it strictly to try to show off in public and being obnoxious with it trying to be cool then yeah that’s pretty gay, but honestly both are pretty fun sometimes
