Correction -- my watch reported 9:55 AM (not 10:55 AM) and the first beacon was reported at 11:15 AM; so, about an hour and twenty minutes after power on.

the Trace was not designed for continuous tracking. It may take to to 30 minutes to wake up after it sleeps, when motion starts again.
