So just to confirm, nobody can make a playlist from their official 'artist' account? Rather, you simply use a personal account to make a playlist (which is disconnected to your artist account), and then look up that playlist from your artist account?

Same here, I can’t actually find out how to “make” a playlist with my official artist account. They keep saying that you can feature a playlist that you’ve made, but they don’t say how to make one with your account.

Here to confirm that the wording is misleading - you are correct. You can only make it on your personal (account which manages the profile), and then add this to the "Artist Playlists" section or Artist Pick. By doing so - potentially losing legitimacy of branding.

Spotify, you realise this video is utterly pointless? 😂 People want to know how to CREATE A NEW PLAYLIST via the Spotify for Artists app. If the functionality doesn’t exist just say so at start. Talk about bad UX/UI! 🥴 The plus + doesn’t create a new playlist, it copies only an existing one. None of this is mentioned. 😂 Rename the video to: how to COPY a playlist.

Just another gimmick from Spotify as they are not letting an artist create their own playlist of their own songs but rather choose someone else’s songs to promote. How’s that going to help an artist? The artist is essentially promoting someone else and Not the individual artist who is looking to make a playlist. Should be called “Making a playlist for those artist who already have a playlist.”
