Spotlight: Aaron Poole’s First Feature Film ‘DADA’

Actor, producer, writer filmmaker Aaron Poole talks about the process of making his first feature film - an opportunity for him to explore and expand his creative process as a writer and director.
DADA follows the story of a young teen, Kai (newcomer Ciara Alexys), and her father (James Gilbert; “Saw VI,” “The Conspiracy”) who take a road trip to a cabin next to the world’s largest nuclear power facility.
A nonsense game, born out of their distinctive playfulness, escalates into a power struggle when the girl pretends she can “no longer see” the father.
The film will have its world premiere at the Future of Film Showcase in Toronto.
