Yes! Snowmageddon it took a hit. It’s taken 3 years for it to rebound from that (I thought it was dead). If you’re doing an arch, plant 1 on each side. Full bloom in a year. Enjoy!

I’m interested in getting this I live in Louisiana zone 9b .. So you’ve had it a few years and how is it doing? Do you have to prune it very often to keep its shape ? Thanks.

Simply Jan Homestead I’m going to busy at your house lol! I think I’m getting upgraded outta the storm shelter. 😂 I kinda wanna do this on west side of my house on the cattle panel but it’s dedicated to kajari melons this year.

Moved North Homestead I never see seeds for it or I would send you some. I bought the plant. I’m going to have to look more closely but I’ve never had any volunteers so it must be difficult to get from seed. Maybe they’re clones. Not sure. I could see this on your new garden fencing.

Does it leave a lot of litter-do the flowers drop off and make a mess? (looking to put by pool equipment and don't want a mess to clean out of the water) thx
@SalongirlGardens4 жыл бұрын
No ma’am! When I trim it I put down garbage bags and gather it up, the dead flowers do fall but I can use my blower to get them out of the way. Just make sure you get Crossvine NOT trumpet vine. 😊

So beautiful! I’m interested in planting one! What is the growth rate?
@SalongirlGardens3 жыл бұрын
It was fast! I did a plant on each side and the next year it had made the flower arch complete. Stunning show of flowers.
@billcrow54033 жыл бұрын
Did yours survive the winter? I’m in central Oklahoma and have 2 growing on a cattle panel. Not seeing any new growth, hoping it too early yet. I’m worried that deep freeze we were in may have killed it.
@SalongirlGardens3 жыл бұрын
Sadly, no. I’m devastated. In fact, I lost 75% of my garden. While I don’t ever plant out I side of my growing zone, the subzero temps knocked most everything out. I’m going to remove in the next couple days. I plan on getting more to replace.

Legacy Home and Garden Monrovia is a plant grower. Where are you located? They should be in nurseries by you. But try this : plants.monrovia.com/search?p=KK&srid=S1-4SEAP&lbc=monrovia&ts=m&pw=Crossvine&uid=385829430&isort=score&view=grid&w=Tangerine%20Beauty%20Crossvine&rk=4

How long do the blooms last before it stops blooming? Week, month or more?
@SalongirlGardens3 жыл бұрын
The initial flush in early spring lasts about 2 weeks. Then it sporadically blooms throughout the year. It’s a winner for sure! Not to be confused with trumpet vine which is so invasive.
@billcrow54033 жыл бұрын
I have 2 on an arch (cattle panel). Did yours survive the winter we just had?
@CheeseBae4 жыл бұрын
It did that within one season? Next season it's going to cover your house. ;)
@SalongirlGardens4 жыл бұрын
Lol!! Nope. It stays put right on that trellis. Not invasive like trumpet vine! One of my fav plants!! Thanks for being here!(so sorry for late response, your message went to the spam folder).

How long does it stay in bloom?
@SalongirlGardens4 жыл бұрын
Huge flush of blooms for about 3 wks in spring and random blooms throughout year.
