Me too, I was always a WWF fan so it sucked knowing WCW had way better games on the 64 until WWF finally left Akklaim and went to THQ. WrestleMania 2000 and No Mercy were so awesome when I was a kid

Deep down I know it's not a very good game but because of my childhood it holds a close spot to my heart and still play it to this day off and on. It does have that begining of the attitude era feel tho.

NJPW Toukon Retsuden (Powermove Pro Wrestling) had a superb 3D wrestling engine and creation tools had existed in the Fire Pro series since at least 1993. Warzone might have been a WWE (F) game, but let's be honest, it doesn't really have anything else going for it.

I remember buying this (for PSone 1st time ever playing it) in either '02 or '03, and remember thinking this game wasn't as good. This was because I'd played this after WWF Attitude (can't remember exactly when I played Attitude, but I do know it was sometime before playing Warzone). The main things I always found impressive imo, is that wasn't only just the 1st wrestling title to feature your opponent getting busted open. That wasn't only just the 1st WWF title to include your opponent overall to bleed. But this was the first game (to have career mode) where you "actually" went by a schedule to wrestle. I like how you could do "ppv" mode and basically relieve the pay per views of WWF of '99 maybe (and if they're not accurate at least somewhat). Because one thing I do know, is SmackDown is much better wrestling game overall but since it was THQ's first attempt at anything WWF/WWE (so it's understandable imo) they had very limited options to choose from as opposed to Attitude.

Getting booed by the crowd for repeating the same move was the reason why i hated this game and WWF Attitude growing up because of that and how that game caused me severe anger issues as a kid over the years playing that game on a Project64 emulator and has even lead me to yelling at my monitor and punch the screen when that happened (Especially when i'm playing as a babyface). Oh thank god Smackdown 2 helped me get away from all that hell that was fucking War Zone & Attitude with their oversensitive crowd that treats you like shit and boos you for the dumbest reasons ever just because you did the same fucking move over and over and over again. That annoying booing shit NEVER happens to me in Smackdown, EVER! And hell i can even do the SAME move like 87 times in a row and the crowd wouldn't care one bit unlike that piece of garbage WWF War Zone/Attitude!
