This was your best Spotlight interview thus far. .. Her ballroom image is so controversial ! It keeps you wanting more... I'm not in the ball scene or I hardly ever comment but I've been watching your channel for a long time now. I work in psych and your "spotlight" interviews have so much depth. Keep up the good work! Thanks for the entertainment, can't wait til you're on Netflix and Hulu.

Yolonda told myself, our friend Shawn Roberts and at the time Talib ( trans name I can't call off the head but rip) that she was going to become a woman when she gets older at 9 -10 yo. The two of us would dress as girls in our early pre teens 12/13 yo and would go to 34th street, and 42nd street cutting school and would turn heads. Along the way I knew I was a man and wanted to be that but her Journey became hers. My journey mines. Unfortunately we separated because I was being a bad teen, which we use to boost from toy stores for dolls and stores for clothes. We have been through so much together and I wish into our adulthood we could have grown together but we were in different worlds. Moreover I love her and even finally before her passing , her mom apologized to me for saying I was the influence on at the time Daniel now known to the world as Yolonda! Fyi she also got her name from my god sister Yolonda whom also grew up with us all. From 6 or 7 until ! Seeing this brings memories that no one other than our circle know about. None of us were able to grow with Yolonda during transition. That I regret slightly but her lane was meant for her and those she kept close at that time. I miss the person I have always known who went from being my brother to my sister. Rip you will never ever be forgotten

The questions everybody should ask themselves? Why after transitioning, getting fame and recognition in the ballroom as a female impersonator, ( fem queen) did that little boy that had a dream of becoming a woman, become one esthetically, still went on to commit suicide. 32, he probably died before he was 40. Why did he commit suicide when he seemed to have it all. This is no mental issue, this is discovering you still not happy after all. Ballroom fame is make belief people. Build a real life.

@Clacci383 жыл бұрын
The real question is…..why are you focusing and shading someone’s life? You obviously did not know “her”. Ballroom had nothing to do with her passing. Take your own advice and build a real life and adding mind the business that pays you.
