Spotlighting Georgetown Law's Class of 2024: Ashwin Ramaswami, L'24

Meet Ashwin Ramaswami, L’24, a Georgetown Tech & Society Fritz Family Fellow whose background in computer science and passion for public service led him to amazing experiences at Georgetown Law. During his time here, Ashwin utilized his tech skills through a student practicum with the Georgetown Institute for Constitutional Advocacy and Protection (ICAP) where he created a search engine for analyzing documents from the Jan. 6 investigation to assist the Institute with its “fake electors'' case in Wisconsin. He also helped launch the Institute for Technology Law & Policy’s Judicial Innovation Fellowship (JIF), which brings tech experts to help state and local courts improve the public's access. Ashwin is now working on a new challenge as he runs for the Georgia State Senate.
