Spotting Large Transactions Before they Happen on Ethereum Full Node

An Ethereum Full Node is a server on the Ethereum network that contains a full copy of the blockchain. It verifies all transactions and blocks on the network, providing a high level of security and allowing you to interact directly with the Ethereum blockchain. On the other hand, Infura is a Blockchain as a Service (BaaS) provider. It provides an API that allows developers to send transactions, read contract data, and fetch blockchain related data without having to run a full node.
One of the main highlights of the video is the real-time comparison of spotting large transactions in the Ethereum mempool. The mempool, short for memory pool, is essentially the waiting area for transactions that have been submitted but not yet included in a block. With a full node, you can directly access the mempool and see these transactions in real-time, whereas with Infura, you're reliant on the service's infrastructure and speed.
We can see transactions before they happen on Ethereum and on the Binance Smart Chain. So why not use the information to our advantage. Please put thoughts and ideas in the comments if you have them.

It's still entirely possible to frontrun on solana. It happens all day long. And now they have a way to group transactions in the validators, making it even easier.

Hey Shaun, great video! Have you found rust to be much faster than nodejs? Also are you able to parse both uni v3 and v2? And how are you getting token symbols?

Yes for sure! Rust is about twice as fast from what I can see. I have been able to parse for both exchanges. I just lookup the symbols as am running the code directly on the full node. Just call the ERC20 contract address and decode from there. Will put all this in the course once done.
