so electrum is safer in that no personal info is connected to it? if the coins go through electrum do they still have their history attached so if you move coins from electrum to coinbase would they still be dirty or does electrum automatically clean them?

Have you looked at chain analysis on the first exchange " New liberty standard" which was funded by Marti (programmer) for 5050btc, it looks as if no transactions that did not flow back to owners wallet the hole time exchange was open 10/2009 through 4/2010. Can you please explain this?

It's also very common for legal large amounts of money to be separated in to multi-wallets so that cold storage is safer and It's harder for a thief to steal all your crypto. So your going to see lots of the same pattern which is used both by law abiders & law breakers.

easiest way, buy bitcoin and have them on a local wallet, exchange to monero (have the wallet on your own computer), maybe churn a bit, exchange back to a new btc wallet. Ofc that's only if the seller only accept btc.

What i don't understand about mixing: They put everything in a wallet and then give them out and give each customer a new wallet. Why do they not split the outgoing bitcoins in multiple wallets per customers? Split the amount amount in a binary number and for every 1 in that number make a transaction to a new wallet, so if someone has to trade 100 mBTC, he gets one wallet with 4 mBTC, one with 32 mBTC and one with 64 mBTC. This way you can not follow the money because there are a lot of others wallets that also received 32 mBTC and others that also received 64 mBTC.

it was de-anonymized in the US years ago, when Congress passed KYC rules for exchanges...it was fairly obvious. In theory, you can still use it anonymously, but you have to know what youre doing and cant go through exchanges...
