Yet another mon where draft would be amazing for it. The movesets have two drastically different playstyles and seem like they require very different items and having the enemy comp knowledge from draft would help a lot in making that decision that said, I'm absolutely maining Razor Leaf/Aerial Ace. Reminds me a lot of Anka from Vainglory (my fav moba ever)

Besides liking Leafeon in general, I’m very excited about Leafeon’s first move set! It’s has skills share some similar mechanics to that of League’s Ahri and Xayah. (Ironic since they’re my mains lol) With Razor Leaf, it’s reminiscent of Xayah’s E where she recalls her feathers in the same way. Leafeon’s dashes remind of me of Ahri’s ultimate and how she dashes in between team fights to reposition. Overall I’m so excited since Leafeon is my favorite pokémon, but also because I feel like it’ll be easy to pick up it’s play style.

I would probably run leaf blade and solar for my first couple games. I think razor leaf is going to end up being the more creative build for plays though!

You should do Razor Leaf and Leaf Blade or Solar Blade and Aerial Ace Leaf Blade will help with Razor Leaf's bursty assassin pattern while giving AoE damage to clear wild pokemon camps. Aerial Ace will allow Solar Blade to have hit and run tactics and be better at poking at a distance and keeping yourself safe, and it does so much damage by itself that it does not need anything more with it so you rather have the utility of Aerial Ace's mobility. Aerial Ace will also offer repositioning while charging up Solar Blade.

Not related to the video but do you think draft mode will be implemented to ranked? I was away from the game for a bit and was surprised to see nothing has happened with that since i stopped playing. I really like the game and the pokemon variety right now, and even with the terrible balance, I'm having fun, but draft mode would be so amazing for so many reasons, it would be game changing, and i can't find any videos about why it hasn't come out yet.

Leafy boy is my fav pokemon, in the hole franchise, no idea why, i kinda just used it in pokemon sword and then when I noticed it became my favorite one of all time. Cant wait to use my budy in the game! (I just returned to the game after a long break from it)

thanks for the vid jake, amazing as always. im actually not excited about leafeon at all, he as the worst swift too, thought sylveons had the worst but not anymore lol as for aerial ace not sure that move is worth any use at all, i'd use leaf blade instead for the extra dmg, it still allows you to reposition so no loss there. i'd choose razor leaf as my primary move, it seem more fun. i kinda feel like leafeon could be zacian 2 or buzwole will, after those buffs.

I run scoped lens and razor claw and energy amplifier it's so good attack weight is nice but I prefer to use weakness policy instead of attack weight but atk weight razor claw and scope lens is good I switch our ask weight for weakness policy or energy amplifier

Crit, Razor Leaf, Leaf Blade. CrisHeroes said Leaf Blade was better than Aerial Ace on the Razor Leaf build, and Leaf Blade will fill boosted gauge for potential boosted auto crits with a crit build.

I am really confused as of why doesn't Razor Leaf specify the time for the "enchanced return". It seems like such an important part of that ability, yet there is no indication as of then the leaves are ready for the more powerful return.

Hey Jake, how do I get better with speedsters the only type of characters really good with our defenders. I got a winrate a 53% to 55% wind rate with almost all of them. But they’re speedsters I like like Zoroark And I’m really interested leafeon

Swift's different damage number might be because it can crit? Maybe the bigger dmg number is a crit Extra: what if you pop down a razor leaf, teleport to the other side of the map via hoops unbound. Will the leaves come back to you?

Maybe if there is something weird with the crit animation, but on a surface level it doesn't look like a crit because usually crits are accompanied by a small symbol next to the number as is seen when a basic crits at ~ 2:40

Sadly the puzzle pieces only contain the OG 3 Eevees (not the Gen 1 OGs the OG unite Eevees)

Why we shouldn't use sp atk build on solar Blade to increase its damage if we are rarely gonna use basic atk, u said attack weight will increase its damage how? Its a move not basic attack

Leafeon is a physical speedster hence atk weight is useful not a special atk build. Atk weight increases the overall atk stat of a pokemon which means it will also buff the move solar blade. Don't use special items on this pokemon, THEY DO NOT WORK.

It's always interesting to me when the devs give new mons moves similar to the Unite of an old mon. For example, Dura Flash Cannon being similar to Cram Unite, Lapras Perish Song being similar to Tyranitar Unite, Dodrio Drill Peck being similar to Machamp Unite and now Leafeon Razor Leaf being similar to Scyther Unite.

I love Leafeon and I'm happy it's in the game (or will be in the main game in like 2 days now), but I'm quite disappointed in its role, why does it have to be a speedster? Surely of all the Eeveelutions Leafeon makes the most sense to be a support. Jolteon makes more sense being a speedster when that eventually comes out. I hope Vaporeon is a defender or support since it's a very bulky pokemon and I think Flareon makes sense as an attacker or even an allrounder. But I wish Leafeon was a support instead of speedster
