snorlax got buffed and it's actually insanely cracked rn. i lost to it like 90% of the time since it's early game is so good. flail is just op since it's basically outrage dragonite but on a tank with way more hp, while also giving a speed boost and being on a much lower cooldown. also, block has always been good but now it got buffed, making snorlax almost unkillable with it. i played it a couple rounds, and i won EVERY SINGLE ONE with mvp in master rank. its pretty over-buffed

I played Snorlax pre nerf, and let me tell you it was a great Pokémon but I think the reason it’s getting over buffed is bc the games defenders are so good at doing their jobs either being a mass healer (see umbreon and Ho-oh) or hard to defeat disruptor (see Trev and Blastoise) though Snorlax and Crustle both sort of fit a disruptive game style they just can’t keep up so they end up having to buff their damage turning them into the bulkiest all-rounder type Pokémon rather than an offensive defender. This in turn means they over-tweak them to create a fairer roster as it is like not having a proper defender but it ends up working out as every Pokémon now fills a unique niche. (I think)

you should do an ironman challenge where you would play every Pokémon corresponding to their release date (pokemon available at release of the game should just go with pokedex entry number) and see how far you'd go, if you lose you have to restart with the first pokemon

13:48 Honestly I have to disagree here because I have never had an unfun game with Hoopa, but maybe its just the mischiefmaking part of me calling. While although sometimes you do have to spend a small second of the early game to help your teammates catch on to how it works with the portals, especially since some people just REFUSE to get in the hole to heal, but to me its only a minor setback. The main thing isits just particularly fun to start trolling the enemy team with it when using phantom force to jump around and do a little surprise attack, score a little, maybe trick the enemy into chasing you a bit, and getting back to where you were unharmed. Yet overall, the best part is definitely using Hoopa's unite as a "summon teammmates" button for the bossfights.

I feel like Hoopa would be a huge play if this were for team queues. I can imagine it being so so so fun coordinating with friends on voice chat but incredibly frustrating and borderline useless otherwise. For whatever reason I have so much trouble convincing friends to play this game so I've just given up on Hoopa for now.

Wish youd say a bit more about scyther and scizor, i am a huge scyther believer but I understand its divisive. A little disappointed this video didnt go back and look at what changed from the 'should you buy' video months ago and how that changed answers, and how it came out immediately obsolete due to some of the patch (blastoise especially). Had potential to be the definitive should you buy for months but i dont like it as much as the last video of this type. Still good info though generally.

For Tsareena, I both understand, and dont? Kinda? I've played and mained her since she came out, and so I know her kit like the back of my hand! She brawls super well and I always have fun playing her. The only thing is- It's become *too* easy when i play her, and my matches became dull. Because of that, I only use her when I'm losing a lot of matches in a row. Instead, I've been trying out all the other All-rounders, and I think It's more because I've used her so much. I do well with the others, but I've gotten so used to her that other all-rounders feel... Bad? Anyway, Don't use one Pokemon too much, it hinders your skill. TLDR: Used one pokemon i really loved, and became worse with any other pokemon because of it.

It's a more versatile move that most people give it credit for. Placing quick strategic dragon breaths, noping out of fights, or landing crazy figure eight combos that just decimate entire teams is so fun when it goes right.
