Great edit Jacob! I really hope everyone watching realizes the effort Jacob puts into editing. Capturing the work is easy, capturing the culture and experience is the art that Jacob brings to the table. Tying together multiple cameras and having the conversations sync together takes meticulous attention to detail. Great job brother. It was truly a pleasure spending time with you. Looking forward to more from that 600 gb of footage:)

Yesterday I used some knowledge from what I have learned this channel to drop a tree that had split previously. I knew if I cut it at the easy spot in the split it would be hazardous so going below was harder but definitely the safer choice. I also used a notch frequently used on here but that I have never tried and it worked like a champ. Not only are your video's fascinating to watch but they really are informative in the ways of felling and safety. Great work Jacob!

Impressive, stay safe. My son bought a house in Brooklyn with a healthy nice looking wild cherry tree growing in the back yard. The tree was pleasant in the spring and summer - until it outgrew it's spot or was blown over. The only entrance and exit to the yard was through the house. I recommended he cut it down while it was managable and told him why. He did.

I really enjoy your videos! Thanks for sharing your great work. I live in Tasmania, Australia. I see no women in your line of work, it requires a lot of strength. But I've done a lot of work with my ex 🤣 (that's why he's ex??) We took a Lucas portable mill into self made tracks to cut beautiful Blackwood, using a tractor and logging shoe (ancient piece of logging history) to tow the logs to the mill. Some hardwood logs we cut were more than 10ft through. Pushed over by mini cyclones all in the same direction. When the logs were butted off, the stump would stand straight back up. We would set the mill up over the log and start milling timber. I tailed out and did anything needed. And learned a lot. I loved what we did, it was too hard on me in hindsight. But I wouldn't give up the memories for anything! Edit* Only 15yrs ago. Crazy really. Who works like that now. Or even then? Some of us don't mind getting a job done.

I really like your attention to detail /risk management, pruning twigs and trimming off nubs of banches... if you don't, the risk is probably low or even less, but a low risk repeated frequently statistcally becomes inherently a high risk.
