Looks great! What type of paper do you use, also, what did you spray on it before? I've always had trouble keeping my stencils down, I've had to resort to using coins to keep it down, and the paper I use isn't all that big, so it's limiting me to smaller canvases.
@ThomasVigil6 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I use 150 lbs. cover stock cut to 36"x24". I believe the brand is HammerMill. I use a light tack spray adhesive on the back of the stencils. Make sure its low tack so you don't ruin your painting. you can also use packing tape to tape your paper together and create larger stencils. Check out my other videos, I have a few tutorials!
@yaelpopo6 жыл бұрын
what kind of paper do you use?
@Eaton.Beaver5 жыл бұрын
why did you spray the stencil with clear coat first?
@ThomasVigil5 жыл бұрын
It's not clear coat. I spray a light adhesive on the back to help create crisp lines!

@saron63247 жыл бұрын
hey what's the name of the material you use for stencils? It is a simple cardboard paper or something thicker?
@Marauderess7 жыл бұрын
Are you spraying them with white and then putting the painted side down on top? How do you get it to not stick to the bottom layer?? I've had issues with stencils pulling up paint/sticking when not sprayed but I'm using glossy photo paper!
@ThomasVigil7 жыл бұрын
I am spraying the stencil with a low tack spray adhesive. This helps the stencil keep flat and limits overspray giving you nice crisp lines!
@sasajugovic56185 жыл бұрын
LOVEEE it ! ! !

How much do you sell those native chief paintings for? Let me know buddy I like it
@ThomasVigil6 жыл бұрын
I sold this original for $800, A second edition would be a little bit cheaper. I try not to use my stencils more then 2 or 3 times and if I do I change backgrounds and color schemes, try to keep them as unique as possible.
