Watching you spray that adhesion promoter reminded me of a story long ago: I was painting a helicopter and had a few spots that needed a shot of primer but not enough to mix 2k primer. I had to go to my local paint jobber to get other stuff and asked to get a can of Dupont rattle can primer to shoot these few spots with before painting. Back then, Dupont had a rattle can primer and I think it was laquer. I had used this stuff many times for similar applications but the sales"person" told me I couldn't shoot 2k paint over the top of it. I assured her that I could although I realized it was not recommended. She disagreed and insisted I buy 2k primer which I already had. Long story short, I painted that helicopter with Imron and 20 years later was repainted and 5 years after that it was stripped and the fuselage was resold at auction. The parts I coated with that 1k Dupont rattle can primer had remained untouched.
